We have secured a block of rooms at one hotel in Madrid, within walking distance of the SU Madrid center and conference events.  Details regarding this housing option are available below.

NH Zurbano Hotel

Rooms are available at the NH Zurbano Hotel. The rates are €75.00 for a single, €85.00 for a double of single use, and €95.00 for a double, with buffet breakfast included in both options.  The rates specified do not include VAT tax, which is currently 8.00% for hotel rooms.

Parking is available in the Hotel’s attached parking garage.  There is a reduced fee of €20.00 per vehicle, per night for registered Hotel guests.  The fee is automatically posted to the guest room folio each night. In case the Hotel parking garage is full, there are several other parking garages in the area.

All rooming reservations must be submitted by June 1, 2011 to guarantee availability and rate.

All reservations must be guaranteed by credit card. All individual reservations must be cancelled 48 hours prior to the arrival date.  Individuals will be held responsible for payment of the first night of a “no-show” reservation.  Guaranteed reservations are held (without occupancy) for one night only, any balance of nights on the reservation will be cancelled.

The NH Zurbano Hotel check-in time starts at 3:00 P.M.  Check-out time ends at 12:00 noon.  Every attempt will be made to accommodate either early arrivals or late departures based upon guest room availability. Later check-outs must be requested in advance and approved to avoid additional charges after 12:00 noon.
